I see that this feature has been rolled out. However, with a team, it is crucial that read/unread is a MANUAL toggle, not automatic. Could we at least put the option in settings, so that we can choose whether a message is automatically marked as read?

This is crucial for a team. V1 had it perfect. There needs to be a MANUAL toggle for read/unread so that someone that simply views the message doesn't end up making it look like the message has already been dealt with.
