Add an association label filter to HS deal automation, so SMS can be sent to specific contacts instead of all contacts. In line with the latest updates provided by HS email.
Without this filter your service is currently unusable via automation for our use case.

I don't understand this suggestion. It sounds like something you could workaround in 10 minutes with a custom property and a workflow - maybe two workflows.
